Research: My PhD research focused on improving online decision aids for older cancer patients and supporting doctor-patient communication among older cancer patients with a migration background through eHealth. After obtaining my PhD in 2020, I continued to work at the University of Amsterdam as a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer. I am now continuing my research line as an Assistant Professor of Mental Health, focusing on the improvement of (online) health communication for people with mental health complaints. In addition, I teach various Bachelor’s and Master’s subjects and I supervise thesis students (in the Master’s).
