Conference EUCAM and ACHC about digital alcohol marketing

Published on September 12 2019 – On Thursday September 19, EUCAM (European Centre for Monitoring Alcohol Marketing) together with ACHC organize a conference entitled ‘Digital Alcohol Marketing in the Spotlight’. During this conference scientist and policy makers discuss the influence of digital alcohol marketing on drinking behavior of youth and how this can be regulated. During the morning, scientists will discuss the influence of online alcohol marketing, and during the afternoon policy makers will shed light on possible regulations and their effects.

Speakers are among other: Dr. Rob Bovens (Tilburg University), Dr. Hanneke Hendriks (University of Amsterdam), Dr. Nathan Critchlow (University of Stirling), Dr. Joris van Hoof (Twente University), Dr. Carina Ferreira-Borges (WHO) and Aleksandra Kaczmarek (European Alcohol Policy Alliance).

The conference takes place at the department of Communication Science of the University of Amsterdam, room C10.20, building REC-C. Address: Nieuwe Achtergracht 166, 1018 WV Amsterdam.
