Onderzoek: Mijn onderzoek richt zich op culturele verschillen in patiëntvoorkeuren (o.a. informatie- en participatiebehoeften), strategieën voor het zoeken van online gezondheidsinformatie en de communicatie tijdens het consult met de huisarts. Ik ben gespecialiseerd in onderzoek onder patiënten met een migrantenachtergrond. Verder ben ik geïnteresseerd in de relatie tussen behoeften voorafgaand aan het consult en het daadwerkelijke gedrag tijdens het consult en in de invloed van overeenkomsten tussen arts en patiënt (in o.a. communicatiestijl, participatiebehoeften en interculturele focus) op de communicatie en de tevredenheid over de communicatie.Link: Klik hier
